Fears & Phobias

How hypnotherapy can help
Hypnotherapy can help you feel calmer and in control of your life again. The approach I use is a gentle one, allowing you to gradually face your issues so that you do not have to feel any distress during your sessions. You will learn how to remain calm and in control around your phobia. A phobia is a subconsciously learned response and I can help you unlearn that response. No matter how disabling your phobia may be, hypnotherapy can help you find relief so that you can get on with your life

To those that are affected with phobias they can seem very real and can cause significant problems in every day life. They can churn you up and gnaw away at the pit of your stomach. Causing significant physical symptoms such as:
• sweating
• trembling
• a choking sensation
• rapid heartbeat (tachycardia)
• pain or tightness in the chest
• a sensation of butterflies in the stomach
• nausea
• headaches and dizziness
• feeling faint
• numbness or pins and needles
• dry mouth
• a need to go to the toilet
• ringing in your ears
• confusion or disorientation

Some of the most common phobias that people suffer with are:
Claustrophobia - The fear of small spaces
Agoraphobia - The fear of open or crowded spaces
Cynophobia - The fear of dogs
Acrophobia - The fear of heights
Arachnophobia - The fear of spiders
But of course there are many many more!

Phobias don't have to be a life sentence, so don't let your phobia hold you back any longer!
