Quit smoking

How hypnotherapy can help
Hypnotherapy for smoking cessation is extremely effective but it isn't a miracle pill. You must genuinely want to give up smoking. If you don't, then hypnotherapy is unlikely work.

You've probably already tried other methods to give up, hypnotherapy is different because it alters the mindset and the subconscious of the smoker, as opposed to just ignoring or masking the cravings.

The sooner you stop, the sooner your body will reap the benefits of being a non smoker. It is never too late to stop and enjoy increased health benefits.

Our subconscious cannot distinguish between a good habit and a bad habit so we need to persuade the subconscious to change its behaviour. In order to do this we have to find out what satisfaction the subconscious derives from smoking, and then transfer that satisfaction onto something else that will be more beneficial.

This will prevent you from seeking to fill the void that smoking leaves with another void such as overeating.

The good news is that we are not only creatures of habit, we are creatures of learning, and we can learn to break habits!

Many people who smoke say that they smoke to relieve stress. Smoking doesn't relieve stress, research has shown smoking actually increases stress and anxiety. Nicotine releases a chemical called Dopamine that causes feelings of relaxation that the body will crave time and time again, but in fact the body is actually experiencing increased stress as heart rate and blood pressure increase, muscles become tense and the body and brain experience less oxygen flow.
